Qualitative Mask Fit Testing

Respirators save lives. Qualitative mask fit testing is the best way to ensure your respirator fits well and protects you from hazardous airborne contaminants.

Qualitative mask fit testing is used to determine whether a face mask is the right fit for you. Mask and respirator fit testing is required under Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), which states that “An employer who provides a worker with a respirator shall provide training and instruction to the worker in the care and use of the respirator before the worker first uses the respirator.”

A mask fitting is required for all workers using any of the following types of respirators in the workplace as part of their employer’s respiratory protection program:

• Filtering masks such as N95 or KN95 masks
• Half-face respirators
• Full-face respirators
• SCBA’s

We are experiencing an unprecedented surge in demand for qualitative mask fit testing. To ensure a timely appointment, please schedule your mask fit test or respirator fit test as soon as possible.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice is required, no refunds will be given or if not prepaid you will be invoiced for the seats.  For Example:  If you have a booking for a Thursday class, cancellation must be before 8am Tuesday Morning.
